Bianco Evento GmbH, headquartered in Berlin, is an internationally active manufacturer and wholesaler of bridal fashion and wedding accessories. Founded in 2009, the company designs and produces wedding dresses, veils, mix-and-match collections, and a wide range of accessories for a global B2B retail partner network.

With multiple production locations and sales channels across Europe, Asia, as well as the US and the UK, Bianco Evento was looking for a centralized, scalable ERP platform capable of seamlessly supporting international processes, localizations, and e-commerce integrations.

Customer Requirements

Bianco Evento aimed to consolidate the entire group onto a single ERP system while covering both global and local needs. Key goals included:

International rollouts & localizations

Implementation of SAP Business One for entities in Germany, Poland, Brazil, the US, and the UK, including country-specific accounting, tax logic, currencies, and reporting standards.

End-to-end process mapping

Standardization and automation of core processes—purchasing, warehousing/logistics, production/planning, sales, returns, and finance—across all locations.

E-commerce integration

Full integration of the Magento B2B webshops with SAP Business One for real-time synchronization of products, prices, stock levels, customers, orders, and payment status.

Secure hosting & availability

Operation of the solution in a private Azure cloud environment, with requirements for performance, data security, backup/recovery, and location-independent access.

WMS Integration

The WMS must provide real-time stock visibility, high item availability, and fast, error-free order processing, so retailers can place flexible orders without minimum quantities and rely on accurate delivery from Bianco Evento’s warehouse.

SAP Business One as a Global ERP Platform

SAP Business One was introduced as the central system for all subsidiaries. The implementation was designed so that globally harmonized processes could work alongside local country requirements. Country packages, tax rules, currencies, and document layouts were configured and thoroughly tested per region.

Private Cloud Hosting on Microsoft Azure

The system landscape was deployed in a private Azure cloud, ensuring high availability, flexible scalability, and secure access for all regions. Monitoring, maintenance windows, and backup strategies were jointly defined and implemented.

WMS Add-On by Ingold Solutions

Ingold Solutions has developed a custom WMS add-on for Bianco Evento, fully integrated with SAP Business One, to automate warehouse workflows, improve stock accuracy, and ensure fast, error-free order fulfillment from the Berlin warehouse.

Upgrade of SAP Business One to the Latest Versions

As part of the project, SAP Business One was upgraded to the most current versions. This ensures that Bianco Evento benefits from improved system performance, enhanced stability, and full compatibility with new features and extensions within the SAP ecosystem.

Magento B2B Integration

Magento webshops were integrated bi-directionally, creating a smooth order-to-cash process without manual handovers:

  • Products and pricing are maintained in SAP and published automatically to the shop.
  • Inventory levels are synchronized in real time.
  • Web orders generate SAP sales orders automatically, including availability checks, delivery dates, and payment status.
  • Returns and credit notes flow back into the ERP in a structured way.

Development of Custom Add-ons

To fully reflect Bianco Evento’s processes, several enhancements were developed and tightly integrated into the ERP:

Shipping & Logistics (Shipment add-on)

Automated creation of shipping labels, selection of carriers, tracking updates, and transfer of delivery information to the webshop and customer communication.

Risk Management (Creditsafe)

Credit checks and credit limit control directly within the SAP customer master data, including an audit trail of historical checks.

Marketing Automation (Newsletter)

Synchronization of relevant contact and segmentation data from SAP to Magento/marketing tools to enable more precise campaigns.

Intercompany Workflows

Seamless processing of intercompany orders, deliveries, and automated internal invoicing between entities, ensuring full transparency in reporting.
